Dr. Mark Mathews
Dr. Mark W. Mathews III, Optometric Physician, attended North Georgia College and the University of Georgia in the years 1968-1971. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1975. He is a Board Certified Optometric Physician who has been in private practice in Port Richey since 1981.
Dr. Mathews was on staff at St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Institute in Tarpon Springs, Florida from 1977-1981. Dr. Mathews loves playing the French horn. He is a member of the Richey Community Orchestra and past president of the Hernando Symphony Orchestra.
He has been a member of the New Port Richey Rotary Club since 1982. His professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Central Suncoast Optometric Physicians.
Dr. Vijay Shenai
Dr. Vijay Shenai, Board Certified Optometric Physician, is a local Pasco county resident from age 5. He attended Pasco Hernando Community College (now State College) and earned his Associates in Arts and later moved to Fort Lauderdale to attend Nova Southeastern University to received his Bachelors in Science. He continued with NSU College of Optometry to receive his Bachelors in Vision Science and Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Shenai is a member and past vice-president of NSU’s chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. He, his wife and 2 kids are all Florida born and raised!
He has been a member of the New Port Richey Rotary Club since 2017. Dr. Shenai loves playing the violin, fishing, camping and practicing martial arts. He and his True Focus team has started making YouTube videos for further education for our patients! His professional affiliations also include the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Central Suncoast Optometric Physicians, and InfantSEE.
Dr. Mark Beiler
Dr. Beiler, Board Certified Optometric Physician, joined our practice in October of 2019. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1981. He has worked in this area for many years and is a board member of the Pinellas Optometric Society. He loves spending time with his family, church and cars!!
